I love discovering places in my city. What a charming place @the.prickly.pear is. It’s beautiful but the energy of the place is truly magical. It took me back to my road trip to Baja where we saw the giant cacti 🌵 Lilly’s new favorite place as she loves succulents. What’s our chimesco sauce? It’s our creation! basically, it’s the result of mixing two of my favorite sauces, chimichurri and romesco sauce. (No nuts tho) when I came up with it, I just wanted to make a flavorful sauce for my empanadas. Little did I know that it would become a protagonist on its own. It’s literally the first thing that sells out at the market. I also call it my budget friendly sauce because steamed rice and chimesco it’s all you need for a flavorful dish!
